Key accounts business strategy and planning to develop long term
profitability and growth path in consultation with Zonal Head &
National Key Account Manager , for enhancing the scale of
partnership and establish Cholamandalam General Ins as one of the
largest accounts for the 11 PSU ( 4 Major Merged ) partner banks
Understand segment growth potential of each banks and its
branches, loan book size, analyze historical performance, etc. to
achieve targets
Understand and identify partner bank requirements/ needs to ensure
policies/ products offered meet the requirements, thus increasing
revenue generation for Cholamandalam
Understand partner value chains and collaborate with VH team to
develop new products for partners
Drive contests for increasing penetration of business and obtain
approval from partner banks on the same
Relationship management
Influence stakeholders at partner banks to maintain and grow
existing relationship and expand reach to untapped business areas/
customer segments of banks to increase opportunities to generate
business for Chola
Manage relationship with top and senior officials of banks to
understand their requirements, manage any escalations and map
products accordingly to drive sales and business
Identify new products requirements/ customization required in
existing products and provide inputs to management to improve
service standards & pocket share
Constantly work towards improving service quality with respect to
smooth servicing of claims.Team development & Review
Participate in recruitment process to identify right talent for various
positions within the team
Establish individual performance expectations and regularly review
individual performance of the team
Weekly, monthly and quarterly review with the team and key
relationship managers to monitor achievement of individual targets,
discuss business issues and design action plans to course correct
wherever its required
Conduct periodic reviews with partner banks to drive business
numbers and address any process or product concerns
Interact with Zonal Head & National Head and provide them
feedback on partner banks’ business requirements for development
of products
Support team members in delivering their responsibilities in
business as usual and resolve their concerns/ challenges
Drive the Business through Banc-assurance Channel (SBI- NBG & RRBs) and ensure
the achievement of desired growth & higher penetration at the Cluster / Module level.
Engage with key stake holders at bank for better execution of strategy. Understand the
Organization’s and Channel’s Priority and derive local plan accordingly for Banca
Channel. Download the detailed plan RBO / Zone Wise/Product wise to the Banca
Team & to the Stake Holder’s. Ensure close association with Area Sales manager so
that the Goals are aligned as per Circle Level Plan. Ensure close one to one
relationship with Key Officials of Bank at Zonal or regional level and plan local
campaigns to drive the above goals as and when required. Ensure close one to one

analysis of Product wise Potential & develop the annual budget for the channel at
