  • Managing end to end separations activities which includes addressing employee queries and concerns related to resignation, providing exit guidelines to professionals who are on Notice period, handling Last Work Date change requests initiated by the professionals by coordinating with the professional’s respective People Leader (engagement specialist), identifying professionals who are going to join a restricted entity and expediting the separation process for them by informing the Payroll and concerned stakeholders, coordinating with internal teams like Payroll team and Data Management team for changing employee details like Rehire and Alumni eligibility, Last Work Date change request ‘post separation’ of the employee record in the system.
  • Partnering closely with the primary collaborators like the Business Advisory/Center of Excellence team, Talent Risk and Relations team for exclusively handling scenarios related to violation of firm policy and guidelines by the professionals, working on exit cases flagged by the collaborators which includes cases based on background verification failure, performance issue, absconding, compliance issue etc.
  • Execution and streamlining of Retirement cases: which includes assigning a newly received Retirement case to a case owner or case manager with the separations team for separating the employee record in the system, sending out celebratory emails to the retiring professionals congratulating them for reaching the retirement age on their 60th birthday, sharing the employee record to Payroll team for processing the separation in SAP and post separation- sharing the record for Full & Final settlement calculation for releasing the Full & Final Settlement amount and issuing the Retirement Letter.
  • Ensuring all the assigned activities within the separations team are duly completed by the team members within the estimated timeline and with 100% quality.
  • Collective collaboration with internal stakeholders like Leaves team, Finance team, Compensation and Benefits team, Operations team, ITs, Policy & Compliance team, People Leader etc. for timely completion of the clearance for the exit case records to share them for Full & Final Settlement calculation.
  • Ensuring and encouraging the internal team rapport by arranging employee engagement activities within the team, overseeing the work duties assigned to the team members and actively being the first degree of contact to the leads for informing any team related or process related issues to avoid conflicts and thus enabling for smooth functioning of the team.
  • Within Employee Lifecycle Events Separations team, the basic work duties and responsibilities would be rotated among the team members on a quarterly basis by the Senior Analysts to ensure that all the exit team members are well versed with each of the basic and primary duties which includes report making, queue management, BOT management, system and access related assistance, acquired entities ( Hashedin and Ad2pro) work management, Interns Exit management etc.
  • Ensuring that all the comprehensive business reports like Daily Separations report, Weekly report, Payroll cutoff reports, F&F reports, Audit reports are completed by the respective POCs of the separations team within the stakeholder requested timeline. Any new improvisations to the reports requested by the stakeholders will be informed to the team and the leads by the Senior Analyst.
  • Managing Intern SharePoint activities which includes uploading the new batch of Intern Lists (Summer and Winter Interns) by closely working with the Onboarding team, working on conversion scenarios where the Interns are being converted as Full time employees, sharing the intern list for separation once they reach their last work date, issuing Internship certificates etc.
  • Conducting internal audits for all the business reports at required intervals for eliminating any chances of manual errors.
  • Handling and management of all ad hoc requests such as preparing a report on the volume of exits during a particular financial year for studying the exit trends as demanded by the leads, mass conversion of contractors who are being converted to full time employees, providing exit guidelines, and conducting workshops for employees who are getting separated due to a sudden elimination of a business role.
  • Served as one of the primary testers from Separations team for Talent transformation HXM project (Human Experience Management) where the basic tools of work for the entire Talent team (Employee Lifecycle Events team including HR) of Deloitte changed from Salesforce to Service Now and from SAP to Success Factors. Took part in various testing cycles to check the functionality of the new tools, prepared and reviewed new SOPs for the newly introduced tools.
