
Shilpi Sikha Das is pursuing her Ph.D. from the Centre of Social Medicine and Community Health (CSMCH), Jawaharlal Nehru University. She completed her M.Phil. from the same Centre in 2018. She completed her Masters from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in 2016 and her bachelors from Assam University, Silchar in 2014 with the highest marks in graduation and received a gold medal along with an endowment prize. Her area of interest is social systems, health service delivery, traditional healing systems, ritualistic healing, and health-seeking behaviour. She presented papers at many national and international conferences. She has published also edited book chapters and journal articles.
