Brainsetter is the pseudonym and solo concept of Shinjan Parmar, a Producer & Composer from Mumbai. He’s been a vivid presence in the underground circuit, producing an eclectic range of Dance and Bass driven numbers for quite some time. Influenced by the early underground scene, Brainsetter adopts the classic vibe: Deep, resonating rhythms, obscure sound samples and layered harmonies. Countless sounds are brought together to create a rich, atmospheric and authentic Old-school sound. Brainsetter’s tunes flutter somewhere between Nostalgia and intoxication. A striking blend of euphonious synths, overwhelming basslines, Jazz moods and infectious grooves; the compositions traverse through sophisticated genres such as Deep House, Techno and Chillout, to the more recent, Bass House and Neuro-Hop. Brainsetter’s tracks are fluid in nature and have a ‘timeless’ quality to them, because he refuses to give in to a certain trend or style.
