Traditionally, I am a sales engineer on any given day, but I am a technologist at heart. I, as the quintessential sales engineer, also aspired to be a technology leader in this domain.
I was a part of the Oracle Cloud Support Team working on Oracle Exacc, Oracle Enterprise Linux, OVM, OLVM, Oracle Private Platform Infrastructure.

As a member of the Solaris Support organization, my focus is always to deliver the best in class post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. As a primary point of contact for Oracle's customers, I am responsible for facilitating customer relationships with support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.
I was working as Solaris administrator in the team that manages ABN AMRO Bank's UNIX system hosting, focusing on Swift and I-Markets applications. The team is responsible for installing, configuring, and administering servers, monitoring user logins, and managing system packages. The Solaris Team also handles zone creation, deletion, and maintenance and prepares recommendations for system updates. The team is used to manage users and groups, troubleshoot issues, and maintain expertise in primary applications and integration points. Team members usually coordinate with internal customers, provide on-call support, and perform production server and application maintenance.
As a system engineer, I conducted RF drive tests and optimised ALUMS CDMA/EVDO sites for Reliance Communications. I used MapInfo and Tems tools to prepare reports and optimize DT parameters. I also conducted LTE (4G) site accusation surveys for Samsung across Bangalore. I integrated and commissioned Nokia Flexi Edge BTS's and FIU and conducted external alarm patching. I provided Unix Basic support, managed file systems, maintained hardware and software inventory, and coordinated installation and HW issues with hardware vendors. My profile highlights include synchronizing existing 2G and 3G sites and adding new sectors.
