Worked in core Amdocs Billing Product, Account Receivables and Journaling area.
Was the part of two major Migrations, B2B and B2C customers along with all the internal releases of the project which was a boon in knowing the entire Telecom structure from Ordering to CRM to Customer Management to Turbo Charging and lastly to Journalizing.
Role included handling Customer's Bill cycle, via Batch Jobs using shell scripting and core C language, which was later monitored via OCB (One click Billing) machine .
Second application , Account Receivables where in all the customer's financial journey right from new customer creation to its Final billing and Finally writing it into the Journal books in End Of the Day and mostly in End Of the Month. This helped the project to manage customer's monthly revenue in identifying overcharging and undercharging scenarios , which lead to solve around 95% of journal mismatches.
Third application , Collection - which involved managing customer's debt and payments , via customer's invoice status and it's credit debit link. This also included managing customer's credit class and assigning the correct group of class to customer's according to their eligibility criteria which reduced N number of customer escalations.
Worked with Business Teams and Customers , mostly where customer requirement gathering and converting those requirements into visual data was involved.
Impact Analysis was one of the day to day task carried out during the entire experience which was completely done via SQL.
Worked with L3 team for span of 3 months , as a candidate for early engagement to know the core code and building user stories and developing them.
Along with L3 team, was involved with Solution team of the Project to help improve the core product and identify the loop holes via which revenue leakage was identified.
Also worked to create Power BI dashboards to present the statistics of payments , back outs , adjustments , journal mismatch including all the financial transactions, which showcased the day to day trend of the project which was done by using Shell Scripts, SQL , Power BI and Power Automate tool.
During the entire period of experience , have worked with many clients to fulfill their requirement by being the middle ware of Operations team and The Delivery team till the end customer, to get the CR's (Change Requests ) pushed and getting them live into production.
