· Preparation of stress critical line list for executing flexibility analysis of critical pipes and stress analysis reports. Preparation of stress critical P&ID mark-ups for stress analysis.
· Stress Analysis of critical system as piping connected to centrifugal compressor and expander and reciprocating compressor and also to Vertical or Horizontal Reboilers.
· Loop Study for pipe racks and FEED engineering.
· Performed piping wall thickness calculation and prepared piping material specification.
· Excellent exposure to Static Piping Stress Analysis of lines connected to heat exchangers, Cold Box, Pressure vessels, Columns, Pumps, Air coolers, Storage Tank, PSV, Bellows, Rack Piping and Flare Piping Systems, Slug flow lines and two phase flow lines etc.
· Performed stress analysis by using Bellow (Expansion Joint) for critical piping system.
· Performed stress analysis for piping system complying Modular Fabrication and includes transportation analysis.
· Performed Dynamic modal analysis, Dynamic slug/plug flow analysis, Fatigue analysis and seismic spectrum stress analysis for critical piping system.
· Performed stress analysis of Hydrogen services piping, Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) plant piping.
· Conversant with PRG FEA tool NOZZLE PRO, FE Bend, FE Pipe and have performed FEA for vessel, heat exchanger and tower nozzles, FE bends, SIF calculation and Trunnion calculation.
· Design experience of various pipe supports such as Hot box, Acoustic support, Column clip supports, Chute support.
· Selection of supports based on piping system design conditions.
· Issue piping loads to civil for pipe rack, structures, vessel platforms, plinths and for miscellaneous pipe supports steel.
· Buried piping stress analysis of underground lines.
· Perform WRC 537/297 analysis.
· Checking of isometrics as per stress analysis and supports design requirements.
· Flange leakage calculations using pressure equivalent, NC 3658.3, ASME Sec VIII methods.
· Well conversant with codes Like ASME B 31.3, ASME B 31.1, ASME B 31.4, ASME B31.8, API 610, API 661, API 662 (Part – 01 & 02), API 650, ASME SEC VIII, EJMA, API 617, NEMA SM 23 and API 618 etc.
· Checking stress calculations performed by stress engineers.
· Reviewed base springs, spring hangers and expansion joint vendor data sheets.
Proficient in using CAESAR-II software, PDS and SP3D modeling software
