Capstone Projects

  • SMART PESTICIDE SPRAYER ROBOT, Solidworks, Ansys, Mechanical System Design, This project focuses on developing a smart robot to efficiently spray pesticide on pomegranate trees, aiming to reduce manual labor and health risks associated with traditional spraying methods. By automating the process and targeting only infected plants, this solution enhances effectiveness while minimizing chemical residues on fruits and vegetables. Project earned a design patent. (Indian Design Patent - 358739-001).
  • SEAWEED HARVESTOR, Solidworks, Ansys, Mechanical System Design, This project addresses the challenge of limited automation in seaweed cultivation by proposing a harvesting model that improves efficiency, reduces labor, and overcomes area limitations. The design includes a float guiding system to prevent the float from being cut, a monoline guiding mechanism to support and direct the monoline, and a cutter with an angle adjustment mechanism that performs precise cutting while adapting to the monoline's position. This automation enhances the harvesting process, making it more efficient and labor-saving. (Patent published, grant in process).
