• Nature of job and key responsibilities:
   New product design & development for the Asian market (Refrigerators)
   Familiar with product development process from the Idea to product realization
   Mainly in refrigerator, responsible for mechanical parts design and development like
  Accessories, Body, & Door.
   Design product for prototype, and involve in prototype making and testing.
   Variant management
   Competitor product bench marking to indentify the new features, material cost & the
  manufacturing process.
   Engineering change management and implement the changes in production line (ECM)
   Based on the agreed changes in the product, revising the design related documents and
  releasing.
   Product testing & coordination with LAB personnel’s.
   Take part in the pilot series production of new product and solve the design related issues on
  production line.
   Involved in cost and quality improvement projects
   Packaging design and testing as per the PATT
   Component release and testing

• Nature of job and key responsibilities:
   NPD activities through stage gate process from the scoping to product launch.
   Design & development of mechanical components for water heater and water purifier.
   Design localizing and release for the Indian market from the global R&D.
   Regularly interacting with US, R & D and China engineering teams, to discuss about present
  development work and solving engineering related problems.
   Proposing design improvements & adding valve to the running products.
   Key role in plastic & sheet metal components design & validation.
   Packaging design (Carton box’s, EPS, & collaterals) activity for the new product.
   Interaction with all the functional departments like marketing, manufacturing, quality, &
  production in the developmental activities.
   Driving the engineering changes through change management (ECM).
   Coordinating with vendors in the part development process.
   Generating BOM’s for coasting & giving the inputs to finance team for arriving final product
  cost.
   Participation in PPAP activity for component finalizing

Summary :
Had very good exposure on industrial pumps working principle. Working with France Team & Making daily interaction to understand the changes in CAD & Manufacturing Drawing.

Experience :
• Daily interaction with France team & understanding the changes.
• Gained very good exposure on cast iron parts design & cast-iron part manufacturing process.
• Building 3 Models & making the drawing. Before releasing the drawing making a quality check thoroughly.
