PROJECT 1 : DEVOPS DATABASE AUTOMATION ENGINEER

• Integrating database changes into CI/CD pipeline for automated testing, deployment, and rollback
• Managing database schema changes and configurations using version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Automate database script execution using cx_Oracle library in Python
• Ensure compliance with SOX audit requirements by incorporating SDLC practices.

• Technical Lead to support cloud migrations from on premise oracle databases to Amazon EC2 hosted databases
• Build pipelines to automate application/database deployments using devops tools and strategies
• Manage team of 11 resources involved in cloud migration from on-prem oracle database to AWS

• Oversee end-to-end management of Oracle databases across development, test, and production environments, ensuring optimal performance, implementing robust backup and recovery strategies, and actively managing user access, roles, and database security policies to guarantee confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

Execute the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle databases and EBS applications, proactively monitor performance, conduct upgrades and patching, and collaborate across IT teams to align Oracle databases with organizational requirements.

• Collaborate on Oracle application and database installation, configuration, and maintenance, execute database tuning and maintenance, troubleshoot with senior DBAs, and orchestrate migration of Oracle EBS from version 11i to R12 and Oracle database from 10g to 12c.

• Started as a trainee Oracle DBA, advanced to Oracle Apps DBA, with expertise in Oracle database concepts, SQL, database installation and configuration, backup and recovery, and automated Oracle database monitoring.
