• Carried out multiple experiments and activities as a part of practice school during the 7th semester which included extraction techniques of phytochemical constituents from crude drugs, preparation of herbal formulations including nanoformulations, preparation of herbarium specimens, identification of plant species by various methods (software used: PlantNet)




• Compiled and presented on a novel medical device for the diagnosis of typhoid called Typhidot and the problems faced in commercializing this product. This presentation was attended by around 200 students and was well-received by the attendees

• A group project titled, ‘Evaluation of Anti-Microbial and Anti-Inflammatory Activity of Nothosaerva brachiata Wt Root Ethanol Extract Using In Vitro and In Silico Studies’ carried out in B. Pharm




• An M. Pharm group project titled, ‘Devising an Antibacterial Cream Using Plumeria rubra L Leaf Ethanolic Extract’

Social responsibility activities:

• Visited Adamya Chetana as a part of the ‘Service to Society’ initiative of MSR Faculty of Pharmacy, MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (Gnanagangotri campus)
• Assisted in the plantation of saplings of medicinal and nutritional value like neem, guava etc
• Performed health checkups involving checks on blood glucose levels and blood pressure
• Toured both inside and outside the centre and learnt about the history of the center, the process of food preparation for mid-day meals, the types of plants usually grown in the gardens etc
