• Learned about extended formulas and debugging in Prophet. Very comfortable with extended formulas and loop.
• Supported in the model migration project for Cigna Hong Kong model to Chubb.
• Created DCS for HK Cigna MPF generation.
• Worked on migration of Reinsurance, Expenses, Commission & Premium for Cigna New Zealand model to Chubb. Reinsurance included both original term and risk premium.
• Audited and helped in building cashflow model for IEV, used for internal training purposes. A simple term regular pay term product was used for explanation.
• Supported in resolving model user queries as and when required.
• Prepared an excel model for demonstrating difference in profit release pattern between IFRS 17 & Traditional method.

• Development of the Prophet Models as required
• Modeled the Smart Health ULIP product.
• Modeled the i–Systematic Insurance Plan ULIP Product
• Modeled the Vitality feature launched by Tata for their comprehensive rider product.
• Proper governance and maintenance of the Prophet Models.
• Modeled some exotic features like CWP, inbuilt riders etc. and performed prophet vs pricing checks of the model for new products.
• Modeled decrement chain for comprehensive riders ensuring that the rates are aligned with the base policy.
• Made excel models to check the Paid–up to Surrender prophet modelling for Best Estimate chains for all Non–Par products.

Key Responsibilities :

• New Business Margins – Understanding of NBM and what factors usually affect the margins of the company and how does margins vary segment wise and analyzing the impact of Business Mix on margins.
• Initial Capital Strain – Initial Capital Strain Modelling using Power BI to understand which products and their versions are creating most New Business Strain

Key Responsibilities :

• Actuarial Valuation of various long employee benefit schemes such as Gratuity & Leave Encashment for Indian as well as Middle Eastern clients.
• Developed certain macros using VBA to automate manual tasks and faster the valuation process.
