I have reported the synthesis of a facile silver-doped chitosan-graphene oxide (CSGO) hydrogel nanocomposites (CSGOAg) using in-situ mineralization of silver ions in hydrogel matrix. The mechanism of their formation was studied by different physical methods, e.g. FTIR, DSC-TGA, TEM and BET. To this end, different spectroscopic methods like UV , IR were used to evaluate adsorption properties of the catalyst under equillibrium and different kinetic conditions using para-nitro phenol in aqueous solution.
I recently completed M.Sc in Applied Chemistry from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, where I have reported the synthesis of a facile silver-doped chitosan-graphene oxide (CSGO) hydrogel nanocomposites (CSGOAg) using in-situ mineralization of silver ions in hydrogel matrix.
My commitment to academic excellence is emphasized by my active participation in many symposiums such as STTP, RSC , organized by our esteemed institution. Furthermore, I have enriched my knowledge with specialized coursework , including a short-term course in Basics in Inorganic Chemistry through NPTEL. Beyond my Primary field of Chemistry, My curiosity extends to nanomaterials, medicinal chemistry and spectroscopic studies.
