An Experienced Electrical Engineer with +14 years of experience in Electrical LV System Design and Analysis for Buildings such as Railways, Metros (Underground / Elevated), Tunnels, Viaduct, Mid-shaft building, Mixed use development etc.
Project: KVMRT – KLES UG Metro -Kuala Lumpur.
Provided the support in LOD-300 development of the station and handheld following activities:
· Close coordination with HVAC, PHE & Fire services to have the power provision and service routing for the respective equipment accordingly.
· Identification of changes of electrical load for other services and update the same in electrical design.
· Electrical Load flow calculation over Hevacomp for breaker, cable and source sizing.
· Update the electrical schedules.
· Cable Management Sizing.
· Routing of CMS in line with adherence of access and maintenance as per MGKT requirement.
· Systemwide coordination (Architectural, Structural etc).
· Model review to check the service clashes and make the model clash free.
Project: DMRC Phase-IV (11 Under Ground and 13 elevation metro station along with associated tunnel and viaduct)
I have played the role of electrical lead in the project and have been handled the following activities till the tender design stage of the project.
· Client facing for the electrical system discussion.
· Systemwide Interface pertaining to electrical work.
· Prepare the proposal of electrical space planning requirement with different permutation and combination.
· Preparation of proposals for electrical distribution scheme with the value engineering concept.
· Identification of the area to omit to save the space and costing with high level of backup working.
· Collecting the existing operation data and requirement from operational station building to formulate more efficient electrical system.
· Preparation of electrical load requirements.
· Preparation of electrical load details with different mode of operation of station (Normal/Fire/Congestion) to derive the electrical source sizing.
· Electrical Plant Space planning with GA of Switchboards / Distribution Board.
· Station / Tunnel / Viaduct lighting calculation and coordination with other tunnel services to fix the space and height of light fixtures, small power receptacles & Distribution boards.
· Power supply provision of Tunnel Jet fans, Seepage pumps in crossover as per the operational scenario of the same.
· Earthing and bonding scheme of Tunnel / Station/Viaduct.
· Power supply provision of ventilation shafts.
· Preparation of interface matrix of the station building / Tunnel.
· Coordination with Rail system (Traction Consultant) to provide the provide the auxiliary power to respective system equipment’s.
· Electrical calculations (Cable, Short circuit, APFC, LPS, UPS/Battery etc).
· Preparation of Technical specification, Tender Drawings and Bill of Material.
· Provide the Inputs to the teams and ensure the coordination among the other discipline to keep the design update and inline with all the services.
· QA/QC check.
Project: Riyadh Metro (RM-3) C&C Tunnel Line 4 & 6.
Following activities have been handled:
· Understanding the tunnel alignment and employer's requirement as per the tender documents.
· Lighting calculation for the tunnel & Ventilation shafts.
· Performing the Emergency lighting calculation for tunnel by ensuring the NFPA 101 requirement.
· Close coordination TVS, Fire & PHE to have power provision as per operational requirement of their system.
· Coordination with systemwide tunnel services to finalize the light fixture, small power, CMS and Isolator position by ensuring the access and maintenance requirement.
· Small power provision for the tunnel and ventilation shaft.
· Load calculation of tunnel in coordination with TVS, PHE and fire.
· Coordination with station to get the information about demarcated Switchboards / Distribution board for tunnel power provision.
· Exchange of the information with station team pertaining to load requirement and spacing of switch boards for Tunnel MCC.
· Load flow / Cable sizing/ Voltage drop calculation.
· Preparation of schematics.
· Cable Management System (CMS) Sizing.
· Preparation of CMS layout, Lighting Layout, Small power layout of tunnel in coordination with systemwide consultant and Tunnel structure and fire requirement
· LPS system for Tunnel Portal and Ventilation shaft.
· Earthing and Bonding for tunnel and viaduct.
· Electrical circuiting for lighting, Signage, small power for tunnels.
· Preparation of Panel Schedule/ DB schedule.
· Coordination with viaduct team to route the service at tunnel portal.
· Preparation of design report.
· Preparation of CRS responses.
· Service coordination.
· QA/QC review.
· Incorporation of Quality comments given by Reviewer and Approver

Project: Kolkata Metro/ Kochi Metro – Elevated station, Depot and Viaduct
Following activities have been handled:

· Services planning in viaduct in coordination with structure , third rail system, S&T etc.

I have been involved in site activities during my beginning of the carrier and have been looking after following activities.
· Coordination with civil contractor to make sure all the electrical opening are in place during site concreting.
· First fixed installation (Cable tray, trunking, Brackets etc).
· Fixing of the switchboards.
· Fixing of Light fixture and small power receptacles in station and tunnel.
· Fixing of earthing system.
· Equipment delivery and storage at site.
· Provide the inputs to design teams to update the construction drawing as per site condition.
