• · Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• · Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• · Coordination with all stakeholders of the project for the coordinated design development
• · Responsible for the preparation of Schematic design/Detail Design/Tender packages, Electrical calculations.
• · Markup preparation, Template for Electrical calculation sheets, selection of equipment’s, leading the coordination with other building services or subs involved in project.

• Hinkley Point C – Nuclear Building -NNB.The following activities has been handled.
• · Understanding the requirement of building operation and criticality of usage of equipment, services as per NNB documents.
• · Identifying the gaps and inputs required to proceed the design work and raised the RFIs.
• · Understanding the electrical requirement of different rooms of the building as per the room datasheets.
• · Detailed out electrical load calculation in collaboration with HVAC, Fire, PHE and other system with different mode of operation of the building like normal & fire mode.
• · Identification of design assumptions and update the same in design assumption register of project.
• · Development of Electrical Single Line Diagram for electrical distribution from concept scheme and develop that further in line with detail Amtech calculation.
• · Collecting the electrical load requirements and equipment location from other discipline (HVAC, PHE, Fire, and other system) to calculate the potential length of the cable and get the working philosophy of their equipment to have the electrical provision accordingly.
• · Selection and sizing of cables on Trimble Pro.
• · CMS calculation and route identification in coordination with other services.
• · Electrical discrimination and selectivity study on Trimble pro (Amtech).
• · Earthing and Bonding calculation and scheme development.
• · Lighting Calculation (Normal / Emergency) of building premises in collaboration with FLS report to maintain the emergency lux level in building egress route in compliance with BS5266/BS1838.
• · Small power provision for general purpose and well as other system requirements.
• · Weekly coordination with UK team to show them the work progress and walkthrough the model.
• · Keep updates of changes to other discipline to ensure if any impact happens on electrical systems.
• · Identifications of risk involved in design and update the same in project risk register.
• · Identification of Hazards involved in design to update life safety register.
• · Multi-Discipline coordination to align the work with other services to reduce the abortive work during coordination of services.

Project: KVMRT – KLES UG Metro -Kuala Lumpur.

Provided the support in LOD-300 development of the station and handheld following activities:

· Close coordination with HVAC, PHE & Fire services to have the power provision and service routing for the respective equipment accordingly.

· Identification of changes of electrical load for other services and update the same in electrical design.

· Electrical Load flow calculation over Hevacomp for breaker, cable and source sizing.

· Update the electrical schedules.

· Cable Management Sizing.

· Routing of CMS in line with adherence of access and maintenance as per MGKT requirement.

· Systemwide coordination (Architectural, Structural etc).

· Model review to check the service clashes and make the model clash free.

Project: DMRC Phase-IV (11 Under Ground and 13 elevation metro station along with associated tunnel and viaduct)

I have played the role of electrical lead in the project and have been handled the following activities till the tender design stage of the project.

· Client facing for the electrical system discussion.

· Systemwide Interface pertaining to electrical work.

· Prepare the proposal of electrical space planning requirement with different permutation and combination.

· Preparation of proposals for electrical distribution scheme with the value engineering concept.

· Identification of the area to omit to save the space and costing with high level of backup working.

· Collecting the existing operation data and requirement from operational station building to formulate more efficient electrical system.

· Preparation of electrical load requirements.

· Preparation of electrical load details with different mode of operation of station (Normal/Fire/Congestion) to derive the electrical source sizing.

· Electrical Plant Space planning with GA of Switchboards / Distribution Board.

· Station / Tunnel / Viaduct lighting calculation and coordination with other tunnel services to fix the space and height of light fixtures, small power receptacles & Distribution boards.

· Power supply provision of Tunnel Jet fans, Seepage pumps in crossover as per the operational scenario of the same.

· Earthing and bonding scheme of Tunnel / Station/Viaduct.

· Power supply provision of ventilation shafts.

· Preparation of interface matrix of the station building / Tunnel.

· Coordination with Rail system (Traction Consultant) to provide the provide the auxiliary power to respective system equipment’s.

· Electrical calculations (Cable, Short circuit, APFC, LPS, UPS/Battery etc).

· Preparation of Technical specification, Tender Drawings and Bill of Material.

· Provide the Inputs to the teams and ensure the coordination among the other discipline to keep the design update and inline with all the services.

· QA/QC check.

Project: Riyadh Metro (RM-3) C&C Tunnel Line 4 & 6.

Following activities have been handled:

· Understanding the tunnel alignment and employer's requirement as per the tender documents.

· Lighting calculation for the tunnel & Ventilation shafts.

· Performing the Emergency lighting calculation for tunnel by ensuring the NFPA 101 requirement.

· Close coordination TVS, Fire & PHE to have power provision as per operational requirement of their system.

· Coordination with systemwide tunnel services to finalize the light fixture, small power, CMS and Isolator position by ensuring the access and maintenance requirement.

· Small power provision for the tunnel and ventilation shaft.

· Load calculation of tunnel in coordination with TVS, PHE and fire.

· Coordination with station to get the information about demarcated Switchboards / Distribution board for tunnel power provision.

· Exchange of the information with station team pertaining to load requirement and spacing of switch boards for Tunnel MCC.

· Load flow / Cable sizing/ Voltage drop calculation.

· Preparation of schematics.

· Cable Management System (CMS) Sizing.

· Preparation of CMS layout, Lighting Layout, Small power layout of tunnel in coordination with systemwide consultant and Tunnel structure and fire requirement

· LPS system for Tunnel Portal and Ventilation shaft.

· Earthing and Bonding for tunnel and viaduct.

· Electrical circuiting for lighting, Signage, small power for tunnels.

· Preparation of Panel Schedule/ DB schedule.

· Coordination with viaduct team to route the service at tunnel portal.

· Preparation of design report.

· Preparation of CRS responses.

· Service coordination.

· QA/QC review.

· Incorporation of Quality comments given by Reviewer and Approver

Project: Kolkata Metro/ Kochi Metro – Elevated station, Depot and Viaduct

Following activities have been handled:

· Concept design of the project.

· preparation of electrical scheme.

· Space planning of the electrical plant, Shafts & electrical opening in RCC.

· Services planning in viaduct in coordination with structure , third rail system, S&T etc.

· Coordination with Architectural/ Structural/ Traction/ HVAC/ PHE/Fire.

· Electrical load estimation.

· Electrical equipment sizing and selection.

· Lighting calculation

· Small Power Provision

· CMS Calculation

· Preparation of Service Markups to provide inputs to CAD.

· Report Writing.

Project: DMRC Phase -2 Saket Metro UG Station Yellow Line.

I have been involved in site activities during my beginning of the carrier and have been looking after following activities.

· Coordination with civil contractor to make sure all the electrical opening are in place during site concreting.

· First fixed installation (Cable tray, trunking, Brackets etc).

· Fixing of the switchboards.

· Fixing of Light fixture and small power receptacles in station and tunnel.

· Fixing of earthing system.

· Equipment delivery and storage at site.

· Provide the inputs to design teams to update the construction drawing as per site condition.

· Electrical switchboard commissioning.
