• Responsible for end-to-end procurement of spare parts and maintenance materials to ensure continuous support for plant machinery and operations.
• Manage procurement of prototype (proto) parts required for new development and trials within the plant, ensuring alignment with engineering and production teams.
• Maintain strong coordination with suppliers for timely deliveries and quality compliance.
• Monitor and control stock levels, lead times, and costs using SAP and Excel tools.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and development teams to forecast needs and support operational readiness.
• Ensure purchase orders, quotations, and supplier documentation are handled in compliance with company procurement policies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement and inventory of spare parts and maintenance components to ensure smooth operation of plant machinery and minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to identify, source, and track prototype (proto) parts required for testing and validation within the plant.
• Maintain accurate records of part usage, stock levels, and procurement timelines using ERP/SAP systems.
• Work closely with maintenance and production teams to ensure timely availability of critical components.
• Support new project development by handling the planning and ordering of prototype parts as per engineering requirements.

I was part of the Procurement Management team at Infosys from August 2016 to September 2022, working on the Rio Tinto project. In 2022 (sept), I joined Punch Powertrain, which later merged with Stellantis.
