Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design aircraft seats and components that meet customer expectations and are in conformance to applicable regulations. This includes the detail design of complex sheet metal, machined, cast or forged metal components, as well as injection moulded or plastic components.
• Generate 2D drawings based on created 3D models, using standard aerospace drafting practices.
• Performs 2D/3D design activities including cable routing for integration of electronic components to aircraft seats and their interface to the aircrafts.
• Creates electrical block diagrams, Schematics, 3D PDFs by interpreting IFE/Electrical Vendor drawings, documentation and specifications.
• Responds to concerns of customers by making design changes in seat design and components in a manner that meets customer expectations.
• Participates in design meetings with project engineers to discuss engineering issues, including Clash, design changes and requests from customers
• Creating bills of material for aircraft seat components and assemblies.
• Creation/update of seat layout (LOPA) drawings, final assembly drawings and Envelope drawings.
• Quality check for 3D & 2D drawings.
• Engineering design change activity and ECR and ECN for design change.
• Follow up of the work orders.
• Creation of Under seat box location and between seat connection drawings.

CAD DPM is the creation digital product model from the Designer 3D and these 3D models are used for FEA analysis, visual appearance and other verification department also

• Modification of the parts according to the customer requirements.
• By using DMU Checking clash analysis between bumper parts and BIW parts.
• Handling the team members and quality check for assigned tasks.
• Checking the Front and Rear Bumpers designer’s data according to the final drawings.
• Reporting to team lead and project manager regarding work status.
• Create and update of insulators based on floor data.
