ARDUINO BASED SMART WASTE SEGREGATION PROCESS USING ROBOTIC ARM, Main project done by group of three on solid waste separation for final semester. Project involved the use of Arduino programming to implement a programmable industrial robot for color sorting. Utilized MATLAB programming software to recognize the dominant color using image processing. MATLAB algorithms were programmed to manipulate raw images, formulate them and designate the identity of the object. Developed an intelligent and low-cost monitoring system to specifically segregate waste products for efficient solid waste management.
