Shruthi Chakravarthy is a dedicated researcher with over 3 years of experience in biotechnology, specialising in cell-based assays, drug screening, molecular biology, and assay development. Her expertise includes intracellular calcium signalling assays, protein purification, downstream processing, and analytical techniques, gained through roles in both academic and industry settings. She is committed to advancing scientific knowledge through rigorous methodology and effective collaboration.
I conduct cell-based bioactivity studies on peptides and small molecules using both mammalian and bacterial systems, while also investigating intracellular calcium signaling pathways in response to plant extracts and natural compounds. My work involves microbial and enzyme screening, along with executing protein purification and downstream processing workflows. In addition, I develop experimental protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical reports. Beyond laboratory research, I actively contribute to Prayoga’s education research initiatives.
Conducted experiments for the manufacturing and isolation of exosomes using diverse biochemical and bioanalytical techniques, while supporting production runs to generate final products for in-house analysis and quality control. Designed and executed research protocols, performed statistical, qualitative, and quantitative analyses, and interpreted data to identify trends and patterns. Maintained accurate documentation of experimental procedures and results, and prepared graphs and presentations to communicate findings. Worked both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory environment, while adhering to and overseeing quality assurance guidelines. Actively participated in seminars and symposiums to enhance scientific knowledge.
Managed clinical data and developed databases for inflammatory bowel disease, hepatic diseases, and endoscopy studies. Screened patients and processed samples to assess eligibility for ongoing and upcoming clinical trials, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. Ensured compliance with clinical research protocols, ICH/GCP guidelines, and patient care standards, and supported study visits and trial operations. Collaborated with clinical staff to maintain data accuracy and identify eligible participants through records, databases, and referrals. Prepared laboratory specimens for diagnostic evaluation.
