Roles & Responsibilities:
Creation and maintenance of BILL OF MATERIAL for Electrical and Electronic components which involves,
creation of initial BOM and also maintenance of the BOM for the complete lifecycle of the vehicle. The
content of the module gives a deep understanding of EE components Assembly Structure and Parts.
Essentially, Bill of Material is a detailed break up of various parts required in order/sequence in the
manufacturing assembly sequence to build a car. Using Engineering client, Vis mockup and 2-D Drawings it is
decided if the part needs color documentation. Based on the engineering changes the Bill of Material needs
to be maintained over the Model Years until the end of production for a vehicle. To put it succinctly, all
engineering inputs pass through here and are put together to make a seat which is then installed to the
vehicle. This is the place where we discover whether we have enough parts, the correct parts and get the
special instructions required for the assembly.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Creating the illustrations required for the operators to understand the assembly process. Remote Importing
data from different data bases by using Team Center. Viewing assembly structure of vehicle in Team Center.
Releasing and Publishing Items (Engineering Change Revisions) created in Team center. Understanding the
requirements from Team Lead. Understanding in depth the vehicle assembly structure, assembly sequence
and parts involved in the assembly. Understanding the design changes, part replacement and creation of
Master Process Plan. Analyzing the feasibility and capability of Math and Tracking vehicle information for the
project. Receiving notification of changes from assembly plant and as well as from the design engineer.
