• Progressed into a key leadership role in employee benefit plan audit practice, overseeing complex engagements and executing audits from start to finish.
• Led and managed a team of 4 in conducting employee benefit plan audits, ensuring thorough execution across planning, testing, reporting and client communication.
• Reviewed audit workpapers and financial statements, prior to manager and partner evaluations for employee benefit plan audits.
• Executed financial statement audit, review and compilation engagements for the Commercial sector including Energy, Dealership, Hospitality, Gaming, Gambling and Casino (GGC) industry, supporting on-shore teams of managers and partners.
• Assisted the on-shore team with system migration during new office integrations, facilitating a smooth transition and driving seamless operational alignment across different system platforms.
• Designed and led a technical onboarding program for new audit staff, enhancing team capabilities, while mentoring new staff, fostering skill development and career growth.
• Delivered basic and advanced ERISA training programs, increasing team knowledge and compliance awareness.
• Contributed to the ERISA Training & Efficiency Committee to improve audit quality, knowledge sharing and support leadership through operational improvement initiatives.
