Currently working on deriving customer centric tests aiming to unearth issues ahead of the customer.Also involved in exploratory testing to uplift the product quality.Deriving test strategy,planning and execution .Exposure to concepts like Dedupe,Compression,Inform OS Upgrade, Remote Copy, Migration, VVol, PeerPersistence.

Performance and Datapath Testing

Product-Recovery Manager Central

Worked on RMC , a backup application product for 3PAR .Handled both Performance and Datapath testing for a couple of releases. Involved in test planning,setting up the test environment ,execution,issue triage,bug tracking,test improvements,providing inputs for automation.Also lead team of five.Working with peer teams and engineers to achieve the right product quality .Exposure and hands on working with vmware, hyperV, 3PAR, Oracle , SQL, SAP HANA,Stress and Scale Testing.

Product-StoreOnce

Worked on StoreOnce , a backup appliance. Was part of Functional and Performance Testing.Involved in test planning,setting up the test environment ,execution,issue triage,bug tracking.Exopsure to SAN,NAS,FibreChannel,iSCSI.

Involved in Manual Testing (System and Regression Testing) with following responsibilities,  

• Test Planning: Preparing test plans, Estimation, Generating/Reviewing the Test cases using the tool “Test Log”.  
• Test Execution: Execution of test cases for critical Use cases.  
• Support Role: Development Support, Requirement analysis.   
• Reporting :Generating regular defect reports from the defect tracking system “Jira”

Product: COTS Product “CRAMER OSS Suite” for LIMS (Logical Inventory Management System)  

Role 1: Senior Tester  

Responsibilities:   Involved in Manual Testing (System, Regression and Integration Testing) with following responsibilities,  

• Test Planning: Generating/Reviewing the Test cases.  
• Test Execution: Execution of test cases  
• Support Role: Development Support, coordination with the external components.  
• Reporting: Reporting internal and external defects using HP Quality Centre.
• Operated using Agile Methadology

Role 2: Solution Designer  

Responsibilities:   Involved in Solution Designing with following responsibilities,  

• Understanding the E2E Design Requirements and accordingly carrying out the Impact analysis for the execution of the business scenario.  
• Writing User Stories and acceptance criterias.  
• Implementation Cost Analysis (using Function Point Analysis)  
• Updating and Maintenance of the Design Documentation.  
• Demos to the Testing team for testing support.  
• Coordination with other components, development team for continuous analysis and design facts.    
• Operated using Agile Methadology

TELECOM SERVICE PROVIDER

Worked as a Network Planning Engineer with following responsibilities,  

•  Involved in Fibre /copper planning for deployment of wire line services.    
• Providing solutions for Broadband customers via WAN port interfaces like G.703 , V.35 , ethernet and other telecom services like POTS, Centrex, DID DIA,ISDN BRI/PRI,&VPN .  
•  Planning of LMDS (Local Multi-point Distribution Service) based connectivity for customers with requirement of up to 4 Mbps Ethernet, Leased line.  
•  DLC (Digital Loop Carrier) nodes - Exposure to UTStar Com Equipment: Setting of Configuration Parameters for integration of the nodes into the network for deployment of wire line services. Preparation of port to port allocation charts in order to allocate specific E1 (2 Mbps) to the customers. Checking of node visibility and link testing, trouble shooting using Real Time Network Monitoring Tools – INetman and CLARITY. Study of workflow and end to end testing of circuits in CLARITY  
•  Analysis of customer requirement and planning last mile connectivity with Fiber / DLCbased option depending on the feasibility and Capex justification against revenue.  
•  Exposure To Reliance Data Network Elements: Atrica routers /switches, Nortel equipment   
• Coordination with sales & marketing, construction, operation and maintenance teams in bringing out the most cost effective solution.
