  • Identification of major areas of coverage for other products i.e. finding the potential for usefulness of a product in a particular area (e.g. for seed insurance, tractor etc.) which would further facilitate in launching of the new product in the said area.
  • Monitoring of farmer enrolment and inspection of insurable interest.
  • Monitoring of market for avoiding any bogus claim.
  • Maintaining data base of the contact information of related officials of various agencies.
  • Facilitating the use of Technology in Field level services of Crop Insurance.
  • Close coordination with Regional Office for Marketing/Distribution/Publicity of Crop Insurance and other allied products.
  • Submission of report to the RO pertaining to the awareness programmes conducted, meetings convened, coverage particulars, Crop sowings status, crop health monitoring, Collection of ground truthing, Individual losses intimations, media reports as collected from the state/district agencies for minimisation of losses/loss ratio.
  • The District Mangers are required to report their daily activities performed to AIC Regional Office on a regular basis.
