Product Design & Integration: -

• Responsible for project planning and preparation of a design release plan (from concept to launch) as well as the development of ARFF, Tipper, RMC, Sweeper, Bulker, Container and RCVs in the past 7.5 years.
• Mapped out the timeline for engineering deliverables and ensured the quality to meet overall project milestones.
• Responsible for understanding the application, uses, CG calculations, selection of hydraulic pump and cylinder, and other vehicle-related calculations.
• Responsible for design and development of trestle for engine exhaust and steering linkage concept design, frame, battery box brackets, fuel tank brackets in Naffco.
• Responsible for design and development of compact pantry system for Vande Bharat trains, in JSL.
• Created models, assemblies, and matrix drawings using CRE-O, solid works, Auto-cad, PLM, IDM, and 3DX for B, C, and P release.
• Communicated with suppliers for detail design preparation and drawing review, report preparation, BOM finalization, and releases as per project phase and timelines.
• Generation of W2, W3, Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for service (DFS), Design for Manufacturing (DFM) & VI report using complete NCR tracking with Volvo R&D 30 Process.
• Integrated with attribute leader of different CFT (VI Teams, Simulation team, Proto Team, Validation Team & Homologation Team) of application for packaging to deliver the overall Project milestone & its execution.
• Successfully executed the homologation certification of applications on HD tipper & RMC Trucks by evaluating pre-CMVR tests and coordinating with suppliers & testing agency.

Proto build, validation & Protus closure: -

• Responsible for Proto build for full proofing of design before its final approval for manufacturing to avoid costly mistakes during mass production of vehicle.
• Endurance Testing and validation of vehicle over Natrax road for 5000 (Equal 7 Lac Kms) & Rig validation.
• Involvement in application validation, Rig test, CAE and closures of all design related failure before its final design release in PLM.

Design Documentation: -

• Creation of DFMEA’s with every release to ensure zero design errors.
• DVP & PAA documents created to ensure promised part life.
• Keep updated to guideline, check sheets, failure directory for zero design errors.

Value Addition/ Value Engineering: -

• New Platform brainstorming, Market study, Capturing Voice of customers and GEMBA with customers.
• Generate new ideas and Concept for better performance, quality improvement, cost reduction, weight reduction and take new design/process improvement initiative.
• Benchmarking the competitors to study the performance and evaluate competing design for Value addition & Value Engineering in product.
• Proactively working with cross-functional teams and suppliers to extract best VAVE proposals & Cost reduction ideas and has successfully implemented cost-reduction ideas of worth 14000 INR in Pro6000T, 85000 in Pro8000T, BS6.

Field failure resolution: -

• Support overall application issue resolution with help of 8D tool.
• By raising the ECO (Engineering Change Order) its successful timely closures & implementation done with coordination among different CFT (Cross Functional Teams).
