Working as Permanent Full-Time Application Engineer in the Pump Drainage and Dewatering system on various Public and Private Hydro Projects.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES -

1. Knowledge & experience of different types of pump and spares required for drainage and dewatering systems and knowledge of suitable pump selection according to the project technical and commercial parameters, layout engineering, procurement, after-sales support and services, logistics, invoicing/dispatch.

2. Experience working on hydro projects like NHPC, NTPC, BHEL, SJVNL, and various other public sectors and private limited firms like GMR and Voith, etc.

3. Experience to read and understand mechanical designs/drawings 2D and 3D and being able to prepare the layout designing of the pump, piping general arrangement, moisture detector, and other mechanical components, process & instrumentation drawings in AutoCAD and Solidworks.

4. Review of incoming projects, register enquiry/ tender, and preparation of quotation/ budgetary offer along with techno-commercial terms and finalize quotation/ bid to the customer and ensure to accept the technical /commercial terms by both customer and company.

5. Review tender documents and able prepare pre-bid and post-bid documents required according to tender requirements.

6. Review and prepare the pre-qualification documents, design, and technical documents and arrange the required bid documents indicated as per tender format.

7. Prepare and select the suitable scope of supply and review services required to be provided as per the tender.

8. Review pre-bid technical specification, documents, drawing, B.O.Q to understand the scope of project requirement & suggest improvisation with the support of a technical team.

9. Review and prepare cost sheet according to scope /B. O. Q and transfer data to design to optimise the costing of material for submitting the lowest bid in the tender.

10. Review contract and create sales order in the system and provide documentation required as per contract from order generation to delivery of material.

11. Review customer's technical specifications and ensure that design/ drawings, quality, quality are suitable as per the requirement of customer contract/ projects.

12. Knowledge of QAP, review and prepare inspection documents as per relevant standards and terms, and also able to perform customer visual and dimensional inspection for pump, pipe, flanges, moisture detector, and other mechanical components.

13. Knowledge of preparing commercial/tax invoices on tally ERP 9, proforma invoice, packing list, e-waybill, dispatch documents, and able to generate bank guarantee according to the contract terms and conditions and also knowledge of EMG and BG retrieval from the customer.

14. Knowledge and able prepare the import and export documents for both purchase and sales/dispatch.

15. Knowledge of techno-commercial terms like warranty, insurance, payment terms, LC, and LD as per contracts.

16. Prepare purchase order required according to contract/project on RFQ from vendors and coordinate/discuss all techno-commercial terms and arrange documentation as per contract scope, follow-up & cost negotiation.

17. Updating of year/month-wise technical records, enquiry, sales and purchase register, cost sheet, BG, EMD, and insurance sheet.

I had working experience as an Apprentice Trainee in the Steam turbine Division at BHEL Bhopal. The training involved BHEL Bhopal and products manufactured by industry, an overview of STE, a Thermal Power Plant overview, Study of Machinery and Foundry shop.
