Responsibilities of the job includes:

- Fabric analysis including Yarn Count, Construction, Weave, Yarn Type, Fabric GSM.
- Responsible to undertake product development.
- Product feasibility.
- Process runnability & Process route,
- Desklooms, Labdip, Yardage development, Trials, Standardization of process.

-Knowledge of different Yarn technologies like RING, VORTEX, OPEN END, and different weaving technology Rapier, Air Jet Cam & Dobby.
- Cost analysis(yarn, weaved fabric, finished fabric, special finishes, etc)
- Approval of samples (PP, Testing, TOP) & Bulk commitment on yardage basis as per customer requirement.
- Communicate and provide feed back to end customer, marketing, buying house & factory.
- Re-engineering of fabric so as to make sure that test results won’t violate customer requirement.

• To perform physical and chemical test on Fabrics & Garments to meet the export quality international standards by following the test methods of AATCC, ISO, ASTM
• Well versed with all types of physical parameters of Testing of both woven & knitted fabrics including Shrinkage, Tear Tensile, Yarn Count, Fabric Construction, Seam Slippage, Seam Strength, Bursting strength
• Colorfastness Testing for Dyed & Printed fabrics and wash care labels like fastness to washing, Perspiration, Dry cleaning.
