I was gifted with the motivation to create a new society in my own university. And hence, the name was introduced, “The Bollywood Society”. This name did not just hold a brand name of thriven societies, it held the numerous sleepless nights, the sweat shredded off to make benchmarked events, the engendering of unity amongst my colleagues to reach to the utmost goal of mine and my society’s vision.
Being the Vice-President, Event Officer, Treasurer and the head of the society, the journey surely complimented me with violent hills hampering my pathway with organizing events, which were in no hope to succeed. Although, with hard work and paramount motivation guiding me along the route, Bollywood Society was able to welcome more than 300 people with 60% of the people being from different nationalities.
In this rickety journey, with the corporation of my colleagues, eventually Bollywood Society now has become one of the most prestigious societies in Newcastle University.
This society demanded high level of management, confidence and adaptability.
