My areas of interest include Feminist Legal Theory, Human Rights and Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Gender Studies, and Comparative Literature on Women.
My topic of research is Sexual and Reproductive Autonomy of Married Women in India- A Socio-Legal Study. I have submitted my Ph.D. Thesis at the Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur.
The focus of this study is to evaluate the autonomous power of women in exercising their sexual and reproductive rights, which incidentally touches upon crucial issues such as the right to consensual sex, the right to equality, the right to work and economic independence, the Right to Abortion and Contraception among many others.
