Roles and responsibilities include

• EOT Crane Maintenance: Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of EOT cranes, ensuring smooth operation of wire ropes, gear mechanisms, motors, and brakes.
• Material Handling System: Oversee the maintenance of conveyors, belt systems, bucket elevators, and transfer points to ensure efficient material flow.
• WHRB (Waste Heat Recovery Boiler) System: Ensure proper maintenance and efficient operation of WHRB components to maximize heat recovery, optimize steam generation, and minimize downtime.
• Off-Gas Handling System: Maintain blowers, scrubbers, and ducting systems for effective gas extraction and environmental compliance.
• Breakdown Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
• Predictive & Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and enhance plant availability.
• Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce mechanical safety protocols in equipment handling and maintenance activities.
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with electrical, automation, and process teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Technical Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, performance reports, and improvement plans.
