  • Worked as a Research Associate in Riverine Ecosystems and Livelihoods And Makara programme under Wildlife conservation Trust (WCT)
  • I was looking into several aspects of this project
  • I was a part of the biodiversity study of Parbati and Chambal River where I got firsthand experience in doing population estimation of gharial and mugger species
  • In addition to that I got expertise in doing bathometric surveys using variety of instruments
  • Ecotoxicological studies are conducted and monitored by myself using multiparameter water testing kits
  • Community engagements is one of the key criteria so as a result of that I have done a lot of sensitization workshops in educational institute and villages to prevent Human crocodile conflict and reducing threats.

  • As a part of this project, I was leading a team of 8 people in field surveys for the biodiversity assessment of River Barak and its associated landscape
  • I have experience of conducting multiple stakeholder workshop, awareness program and other community engagements
  • I have contributed my research findings in several published reports and books through my data analysis and writing skills in this project.
