  • Spearheading Decorative Veneer Panel business for the organisation from end to end. Taking care of Plant installation, Purchase, Operations, Sales & Marketing.
  • Heading the verticals of niche products (VAP’s) like Natural Veneers, Teak and Recon.
  • The mandate was to drive and formulate policies of various functions like Production, Purchase, Sales, Branding, Marketing to ensure sustainable LRPs and MRPs of top line and bottom line. In a nut-shell I am responsible and answerable for the P&L of the business, while managing a team of around 200 people.
  • The job involves interaction at all the levels, right from the top management to the influence peddler at one end and Corporate & Govt at the other end of the spectrum. Import of all raw materials and machines was also done when we started to set up the business.
  • Developed and successfully launched new products in the category, The continuous drive for this has resulted in the largest portfolio in the country with winning series and design concepts.

The idea was to maintain a healthy bottom line by focusing on the product placement, network expansion, market segmentation for impactful reach. Organisation gained majorly in terms of thought process and the teams were aligned to maintain focus on select products while achieving overall revenue targets. It was a launch pad for transformative thinking that the organisation so badly needed for future.
