Worked with major plant equipment:

• 12 MW MUG synchronous motor compressor and its unit transformer 11 kV/ 6.6kV 25 MVA.
• ABB UNITROL 1000 AVR excitation panel
• 6.6kV switchgear with SEL 451 relay with fast bus transfer scheme.
• 2 MVA Distribution transformers for normal load and VSD loads.
• DC charger of topology FCBC (70A) and AC UPS (120KVA) charger.
• DG 1250 KVA

Plant Activities:

• 6.6kV, 415V switchboard panel validation, VCB & ACB breaker testing.
• Reliability improvement in 6.6kV, 415V switchboard by implementing critical MOCs.
• Planning, scheduling and executing motor, battery charger & transformer CM, PM.
• Addressing motor power/control cable fault and rectifying them.
• Familiar with PTW system, HSE standards and LO-TO procedure.
• Imparting trainings and educating technicians on safety & Electrical background with job specific toolbox talks from LFIs (Learning from Incident).

Involved in jobs related to:

• RLA testing on 31.5 MVA 6.6kV/.415kV power transformer and 2MVA distribution transformer. Transformer conservator air cell replacement.
• Tan delta, VLF cable testing. PCC, MCC, ACB panel and VCB breaker validation, Siemens relay 7SJ64 testing and motor leap test.
• 220kV switchyard breaker testing.

• Designed PCBs for the power modules and touch modules using Altium Designer software for smart switches. Also updated the parameters of schematic components according to the company's specifications for easy BOM generation.
• Implemented RS-485 based communication protocol using STM32F769-I Discovery board for company's future projects.

• Designed and implemented real-time motor parameter acquisition using peripherals for current, voltage, RPM measurement and battery SoC monitoring via coulomb counting, using STM32F407 micro-controller displaying results on TFT LCD display.
• Implemented MATLAB model using SIMULINK and State Flow Charts for the vehicle dynamics for custom drive train using realistic battery parameters.

• Evaluated different prominent display interfaces like MIPI, RGB, HDMI, etc., and selected the receiver end MCU for displaying data and images on the MIPI supported onboard LCD screen on the STM32f769I Discovery board also monitoring the power profile of the setup with the help of STM32f407 controller's ADC.
