  • Following up on the excess payment made to the vendors and recovering it from the suppliers.
  • Based on three methods, the analysis is done.
  • Payment Analysis (PAT): Analyzing the given data and on the basis of criteria - Vendor Name, Invoice Number, Invoice date, and Invoice amount, the duplicates are identified and checked in the system - SAP. After receiving confirmation from the supplier, the same is brought back into the books of accounts.
  • Statement Review Analysis (SRT): Calling up the suppliers and sending a mail request for Statements of Accounts. After receiving the statements, going through the transactions and finding out any Open credits in the Statements. If there are any credits, follow up with the supplier to send reason for credit, original Invoice no, and credit memo copy with the confirmation mail. Then it will be shared with our client and recovered by offsetting or refunding the credit amount.
  • Vendor Audit Analysis: Extracting the data to Excel from the SAP system and then analyzing it to determine if any excess payment has been made to the supplier's account. This information is then shared with our clients, and we work to recover the excess payment from their suppliers.
  • Here, pulling out the complete transactions of one vendor by analyzing, trending, and then finding duplicates, and resolving it by recovering the aged credits.
  • Commercial Projects: Procter and Gamble Asia Pacific (APAC), Smith and Nephew.
  • All the above methods are implemented on the payments made to the suppliers. This includes excess or overpayment made to them. By applying these methods, we recover back the aged credits and bring back the profit to the company.
