• In this role, I assist a diverse group of students, ranging from 6 to 16 years old.
• Supported clients in developing realistic goals that aligned with their values, promoting a sense of purpose and direction in life.
• I utilize my counseling skills to help them navigate the challenges associated with different life stages and academic stress, with the goal of improving their mental well-being and academic performance.

• I started working as a counsellor trainee in July 2024 under the guidance of my college supervisors and the site counsellor.
• I finished 95+ hours in individual counselling for students aged 15-17 years at St. Joseph Indian Composite PU College for about 4 months.
• I learnt how to help kids deal with interpersonal problems, manage exam stress, build healthy coping strategies, emotional regulation and traumatic events using approaches such as art-based mindfulness activities and Cognitive Based Therapy.

• I was working under the guidance of the faculties special educator and was allowed to follow a kid's routine in the facility from speech therapist to occupational therapist and then special education every day.
• Weekly, I was allowed to work alongside their clinical psychologist and other members to find better ways to customise a child's schedule to address the basic needs or subsequent development for the specially abled child.
• I also worked with the special educator and psychologist to source material for testing or learning purposes.

• I worked as a volunteer teacher with classes from the 1st to the 8th grades, teaching them English using games and activities.

During my tenure I worked on case discussion and case history formulation, I also was working as co therapist to administer career assessment and personality test as well as confidence building.

• I worked as part of the volunteer group of the NGO to work as a teacher for underprivileged kids.
• I helped conduct food and necessity drives for the needy parts of the community.
