Since I was a child, poems have drawn me in because they teach me how to express my feelings in words with rhyme. I read mostly hindi poems because my native language is hindi, so it connects me to different zones of my heart and imagination. I remember writing my first poem when I was in undergrad and thinking to myself, "How beautiful is it that you can write your feelings in words that can motivate someone or perhaps give a path of success to someone?"
