- A project offered by NED Commodities India, one of India's top coffee buying companies, situated in the Netherlands, sources its coffee from. It has seen gradual changes in its landscape for the past few decades. Initially, it was a conversion of private forest areas into rustic, native tree species-dominated, shade-grown coffee farms. Our work mainly concentrated on the diversification of tree cover in the farms by promoting economically important native and fruit-yielding trees and increasing native tree cover in community lands in the Kodagu district, Karnataka.
