Risk Detection Model- Worked on the development of several models for Anti Money Laundering for the bank which helps in detecting customer transactions which violate money laundering regulations, thus mitigating monetary and reputational risk. The process entails extracting data from big data platforms, cleaning and pre-processing them followed by creating and selecting features for building the model using Python. Other responsibilities included documentation of model development and other findings for audit, presenting the model to business user and other risk forums for approval.
Post-Detection Model- Developed ML model for estimating time required for manual investigation of cases generated against Anti-Money Laundering alerts which help in optimizing resource allocation and prioritization of cases by analysts.
Entity-Consolidation Model- Developed, optimized and monitored several models that consolidates the pseudo customers using their sparse transaction string information.
