- I am working as a Quality Analyst at TS Infotech India Private Limited, Gurugram and am responsible for testing their propriety application, Seaboard Marine
- Seaboard Marine is a shipping application used by clients for shipping goods from ports to inland points
- I am responsible for testing frontend of Seaboard Marine and backend APIs using Postman
- This includes web application testing, functional testing, smoke testing and regression testing
- TSI follows the waterfall model and there is a release every week
- After every release, I log bugs in JIRA along with details like description, steps to reproduce, root cause, actual result and expected result and assign them to the developer
- TSI’s source of income is CR(Change Request) and i have been a part of multiple CRs
- Besides web application testing, I have used Postman for API testing
- Besides manual API testing, I have done automation testing of APIs using Rest Assured

- There was a release every two weeks
- I was responsible for making sure every release was bug free
- As a Quality Engineer in their dev team, I did functional testing of both web applications and mobile application and reported bugs to the developers
- I created smoke suite and regression suite for both web application and mobile application
- For backend API testing, I used Postman for functional testing and tested the status code, response body and authorization type of the APIs

- With respect to the frontend, I tested an ecommerce web application and created tests scripts using Selenium Web Driver
- I automated different parts of the web application using Selenium WebDriver like drop downs, buttons, dates, dialog boxes and alerts
- Sun King followed the agile model and the work was divided into sprints
- Each sprint lasted at least two weeks and was followed by a sprint retrospective meeting
- There were 9 members in the Agile team including three backend engineers, two frontend engineers, one UI/UX designer, two QA engineers and one product manager
- Our team generated a revenue of $1 million dollar over the course of one year
- As part of the agile team, I created test cases based on user stories and documented them in Google Docs
- I did end to end testing of the entire ecommerce application before every release
