- This experience was a WBL (Work-Based Learning) school subject that allowed me to work on our farm and show pig firm for three hours in the mornings before I would go to school.
- I was expected to feed livestock, clean pens, picture train baby pigs, and help vaccinate and ear-notch baby pigs.
- I also halter-broke show calves that we were trying to sell. This required tying, washing, rinsing, and blowing calves out to get the most out of the calf.
