- Working on Land seismic data processing as per client requirement
- Responsible for in-depth analysis of seismic data and QC products
- Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives
- Receive all seismic data, OB logs, Shooters DPR, Output SPS, daily test files from recording division
- Checking the geometry of recorded field data
- Generation of Brute Stack and preparation of all deliverables as per the scope & objectives
- Carrying out the field processing operation for tape copying and data quality control
- Producing high quality processed sections, tapes, observer logs, etc
- And deliver them to the client as scheduled
- Preparation of crew DPR, Shooters DPR
- Preparation of final SPS, final OB Log after editing
- QC post plots received from survey
- Provide the Instrument/Recording crew with daily script files
- Processing and interpreting of data from Up-hole/downhole surveys and short refraction surveys
- Preparing and executing of the experimental plan for deciding the optimum charge and the depth of the hole for regular seismic production
- Identifying the suitable location on ground for the Experimental seismic
- Communicating with the entire crew daily to improve the quality and quantity of production after visit of filed area regularly
- Communication/ coordination with Client representative onsite and Head office
- To ensure that software used is of correct version and all consolidated files are properly stored and backed up
- To ensure that survey plots, drill logs etc
- Delivered to the client are of high quality and conform to the contract specifications
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of client and company information
- Pre-acquisition Seismic survey Design / Planning of 2D/3D Seismic Projects using MESA software
- Special and Dynamic Recoveries of 3D and Planning of shot positions with respect to the obstacles (wherever the big obstacles like major towns, villages, river, ponds) to get the required optimum full fold for acceptable to Client requirement
- Special recovery plans like undershooting, through spread etc in 2D (wherever the big obstacles like towns, villages, river, ponds) to get the required optimum fold
- Prepare contract deliverables for submission to client
- Preparing Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports and progress Reports
- Preparing PPT’s to represent the production statistics
- Any other duties assigned by the company/Project head
- Provide technical support to all QC; including Administration and control of the company’s QC programs and activities
