  • Locate patient information such as lab tests, prior medical records, demographic information, etc. all via the EHR system.
  • Captures accurate and detailed description of patient encounters with a provider and enters into electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Complies with HIPAA confidentiality standards when accessing or communicating patient information while scribing.
  • Responsible for the implementation of new providers/clients.
  • Create a preference sheet, normal, and preferred clinic flow before the transition.
  • Communicate scribe expectations, learning curve, and implementation process in detail with our clients.
  • Provide superior customer service throughout the program set-up phase and bring the implementation to closure within given timetables.
  • Ensure a proper hand-off to the Primary Scribe once the implementation phase is completed.
  • Coordinate with Quality & Production departments regarding any performance, disciplinary issues, and corrective actions during scribe training.
  • Distribute training and learning materials to ensure that scribes are updated on provider preferences and new knowledge.
