  • Umlujj General Hospital :- "The hospital (with a 100-bed capacity) served 5,811 inpatients, and performed 2,101 surgeries, 784 births, and 68528 x-ray examinations", added the Affairs. It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Health (MOH) is currently implementing MOH's Performance Program «Adaa'», which aims to boost productivity, performance quality and efficiency of health services in hospitals. The program is in line with the strategic objectives of the National Transformation Program 2020 towards achieving the Saudi Vision 2030. The program covers 70 main hospitals and features over 40 indicators to measure the performance of seven key therapeutic aspects, which have positively reduced the waiting times.
  • Moulana Hospital :- The Hospital consist 550 bedded multi-specialty referral hospital started in 1990 with all specialties and seven super specialty departments. The hospital is equipped with 10 operation theatre and 9 ICU units including Neuro Surgery. The First Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery Department in Malappuram District was started in Moulana Hospital in 2004. In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and ICSI facilities were started with the able assistance of an Australian Embryologist in the Department of Infertility. Delivery room was designed based on national and international standards. A well-planned Delivery room complex with areas first stage, second stages, labor suit, operation theatres (2) with facilities of painless delivery and availability of 24hr working Neonatologist.
