Indian Air Force and HAL, Bengaluru integration Core team member

IAF- HAL e-Portal is first of its kind IOIS(Inter Organisational Information Sharing) system. In this portal ,two different organizations using different ERPs come together for providing real time updation of data. HAL being the main supplier in the field of Aviation for IAF portal helps in providing real time updates on demands, supply orders and repairable for repair on loans.

Mirage 2000 Midlife Upgradation

Replacement of LRUs for advanced avionics and navigation. Worked as a member in joined receipt inspection of LRUs received from OEM( Dassault Aviation and Thales France) Storing and issue of equipment turn wise as and when aircraft inducted for Upgradation.

DARIN III Upgradation (Jaguar fighter aircraft)

The project set up to upgrade age old jaguar aircraft with ultra modern navigational system. Worked as a project member with responsibilities of documentation of receipt inspection and issue of mod kits to vendor.

Administration and team building :- Has been successful in imparting knowledge and experience to youngsters and managed 30 plus manpower. Worked towards automation of official transactions through e-office,e-governance etc.. Hiring of casual and part time labour. Office management and administration of duties and responsibilities to juniors. Creation of SOPs and charter of duties.

Demand Control Officer :- Job profile includes vetting of priority and most priority demands received from various demanding units. And reconciliation of demands and related data with various agencies involved in the demand materialization process. Maintaining stocks as per prevailing and future requirements. Using FIFO (First In First out) method to maintain optimum utilization of assets.

Worked with TCS IT Team on Indian Air Force Logistics ERP system( Integrated Materials Management online System ) at Air HQs New Delhi towards development of the Logistics ERP benefiting Logistics working environment. Worked towards providing enhancements, removing bugs in the application, testing patches in terms of logistics working environment. Helped in implementation of Defence Procurement Manual and Budgeting Module in IMMOLS . Presently both modules are very fruitful for the organization.

I being Procurement incharge, have carried out procurement of equipments both technical and non technical. Major and Minor purchase activities in accordance with laid down procedures. Job also requires setting up purchase committees and price negotiation committees to ensure the procurement action carried out with atmost care and for the benefit of the organization. Experience in Various procurement process like Vendor management, price negotiation, tender invitation, direct purchase order, GeM purchase alongwith CPP portal.

Maintained high levels of product availability by ensuring timely replenishment of stock. Utmost care is taken to maintain the shelf life of the lifed items and rubberized stores.Effectively storage and preservation of Aircraft spares(ARS,Non ARS, Rotables, Fuel Oil & lubricants, consumable and rubberised stores) and general stores.Proper maintenance and upkeeping of warehouse.
