ABAP Development for SAP HANA - Open SAP

Roles:

• Supporting HANA System Migration from ECC to HANA.
• Involved analysis, design, coding and Bug fixing in ABAP and application scenario testing / implementation in various functional areas. ABAP:

• Adobe Form:
• Calculating Page-wise Sub-Totals and Grand Total in Adobe forms
• Using Alternative, Text Modules, Value help in Adobe Form
• Uploading a PDF file in an Adobe Form offline scenario
• Sending an Adobe form as an attachment in an email

Client : Devon International Group 

Role : SAP Gateway/ OData Developer 

Fiori Apps : Standard Applications with Customization and Custom Applications. 

Profile: The Devon International Group (DIG) is a multinational group of businesses spanning the healthcare, information technology, manufacturing, and international industries. 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop SAP Fiori Applications as per the requirement.
• To design the custom UI5 screens for client based on the requirement.
• Involved in Design and Functional document Walkthrough
• Involved in Unit and Integration testing.
• Documented the processes using Standard Template – TD, UTP, Code Review checklist.

Project Contributions :  

   Developing custom Fiori like applications.

1. Approve PO/PR: 

• Adding material text to the Approve PO/PR Application.
• Implemented the Badi to fetch Attachment from Lync Live server.
• Implemented the Implicit Enhancement for changing Plant field value.

2. Report Quality issue: 

    Report Quality Issue Application to capture and view reported quality issues. 

    Customizations: 

• Add “Department responsible” and “Coordinator” properties to information tab of the Q issue detail screen.
• Hide a “Defect” field that is displayed In the list section.
• Adding custom tabs to the icon tab bar.
• Adding custom list to Q issue detail screen.

Role : SAP ABAP_ODATA/HANA Developer. 

Roles: 

1. Understanding the functional spec. developing the objects.

ABAP/OData: 

1. Worked on Wrapper program. 

- Used concepts getting data from BRF using ABAP code, creating jobs and send mail functionality. 

2. Worked on Auto part sub report 

- Used concepts getting data from BRF, selection screen design complex, send mail functionality.

OOABAP: 

• Create ZIP files in front-end system using Class CL_ABAP_ZIP
• Create and Delete Folder in Frontend system using Class CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES
• Event Handler Technique in Object oriented ABAP

User Exit: 

• Automatically filling the field "Payment Terms" and disable the same while creating PO using the transaction ME22N
• User exit to display Vendor name in Payment run in FI
• How to implement a screen exit to an SAP Standard transaction
• Display GL Account long text instead of short text in FB03 Transaction using enhancement framework

BAPI: 

• Create Customer Quotation (BAPI_QUOTATION_CREATEFROMDATA2 ) with BAPI Extension
• Creating Sales Scheduling Agreement with Extensions using BAPI
• Post FI document using BAPI

Client : Anglo American plc (London) 

Role : SAP ABAP Developer 

Modules : HCM, SD & MM. 

Profile: Anglo American plc is a British listed multinational mining company. It is the world's largest producer of platinum,diamonds, copper, nickel, iron ore and steel making coal. 

Responsibilities: 

• Analyzing the Functional Inputs.
• Preparation of Technical design document.
• Development of objects as per client requirements and standards.
• Preparation of UTP and Check List along with the object to deliver to client.

Project Contribution: 

  REPORTS: 

• Developed Report to Display the GR/IR Ageing report through OOPS ALV.
• Developed Report to Display the Daily monthly Sales Report.
• Generated OOP’s based reports and displayed on ALV grid using classes Like CL_GUI_CUSTOM_CONTAINER.
• Developed OOALV report, in which the basic list displays the purchase orders sub sequent it, displays the lists of items for selected purchase orders by using ‘DOUBLE_CLICK’ event.

  BADI:
● Implemented a BADI to maintain vender key information in an excel sheet at the time of saving the vendor/customer details.
● Developed a BADI to preset the customer recon a/c and cash management group based on the country and region.
● Adding custom tab to the transaction VF01 Header detail screen.
SCRIPTS/SMART FORMS:
● Made use of SAP standard Report program RSTXLDMC to upload TIFF files.
● Complete Step-by-step approach in creating a Purchase Order layout using Smart Forms.
