With almost 22 years of experience in the media industry, I am a versatile and dynamic professional with a strong background in audio-visual, print, digital media, and social media. As a Media Professional, I have honed my skills in copywriting, copyediting, and news production, news coordination, and overall responsibilities as a news coordinator or shift in charge for monitoring contents as per the channel policies and overall presentations of broadcasting, planning, and executions. As a social media Executive at the Press Information Bureau-Kolkata, I wrote social media content for the Prime Minister, Home Minister, and other Ministers of India and looked after promotions of Central govt. initiatives and schemes and highlights different programs of the Prime Minister. I have worked with several media organizations including TV9, Star News, Star Ananda, Kolkata TV, Mahua Khobor, Aajkal Patrika, Bangladesh (a monthly magazine), The Newsz.com (a news portal) and Press Information Bureau. I have experience working in the Print, Television, Digital, and Social Media industries.

My current role as an Assistant Professor and Placement Coordinator in the Media Science and Journalism Department at Brainware University enables me to channel my knowledge and experience into shaping future media professionals. I specialize in teaching Television journalism, Web journalism, Reporting, Copy Editing, and New Media.

My research article will be published in the UGC Care Journal - International Journal of Cultural Studies and Social Sciences (ISSN: 2347-4777) by October 2024.
