Objective: To identify the key factors driving urban Indian consumers to prefer private couriers over India Post, and segment them into distinct behavioural typologies using survey data (n=129) and cluster analysis.
Result: Private couriers were preferred mainly due to booking ease, delivery speed, and real-time tracking (composite score 3.59/5), with consumers segmented into Private-Champions (55.8%), Moderate Fence-Sitters (33.3%), and India Post Advocates (10.9%).
