A key role in the AEBC Controllership directly reporting to Assistant Director :

• Produce monthly results, variance analysis and business commentaries for the AEBC Board and Senior Management along with year-end financial statement & disclosure review
• Monitor accounting changes and ensure adherence to accounting pronouncements - for instance, monitored changes pursuant to revision in ASC 606 (US GAAP) impacting all major revenue sources and revision in ASC 840 (Lease Standard)
• Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly submissions to regulators (E.g., NYSDFS, RBI & FED) including leading the yearly ICAAP project
• Ensure corporate governance and adherence to compliance with various internal & regulatory policies
• Coordinate and manage various audit engagements (Internal/ External) and liaise with stakeholders for data requirements
• Led and accelerated USGAAP year-end statutory audit for a foreign branch along with discontinued operations in Greece
• Maintain adequate controls, documentation and audit trails to comply with US GAAP / IGAAP and internal accounting and close process policies and procedures

A challenging role in a mid-size consulting firm. Dealing with a diverse clientele and guiding on accounting, taxation, auditing and investing issues

• Financial Consultant at a growing dot com start-up dealing in educational sector. Supported on all major financial decisions including budgeting, accounting, taxation, strategic initiatives and monitoring financial performance
• Set-up an entire accounting & vouching process from scratch - over and above my role as an external consultant
