- Troubleshooting and Rectification of Network Problem (LAN/WAN) related to Cisco / Alcatel / Juniper Router and switches
- Interacting with customers to understand the problems and resolving the issues in coordination with different internal teams
- Monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting of VPN, ILL, MPLS links
- Working on different issue like, IP reachability, errors, reliability, throughput, flapping, high Latency/packet drops or application related issues etc
- And resolving these issues in coordinating with different last mile BSNL, MTNL, TTML wired media team, RF wireless media team
- As a part of resolution, the cases will be escalated to concern teams/peering partners/site admins if the problem observed beyond the home network or complete failure and accordingly
- Technical support and fault management for the WAN connectivity including the trouble shooting and configuration of routing protocols like BGP, EIGRP, OSPF and MPLS
- Coordinating with domestic vendors (Wipro /IBM) and international vendors with NICCO & CISCO for hardware (Router / switches) issues
- Responsible to conduct scheduled activities like failover testing, DC-DR testing, Change Management etc., Providing level 3 support (Service delivery and Service support) to all Tata communication Hosted Contact Center & corporate Internet Telephony/ Managed VOIP customers/Network
- INSTACC is an IP based hosted Contact Center (HCC) Solution
- This includes Inbound, outbound calling, Predictive dialing (Dialer), ACD, IVR, Call Recording, and Reports
- Troubleshot Firewall Policies and Rules in Cisco ASA 5540, 5580, FortiGate firewalls per the business requirements
- Involved in troubleshooting network traffic and its diagnosis using tools like ping, traceroute, Wireshark
- Worked with users to identify firewall ports required and allow them through change control process
- TATA COMM products: Cosmocom Contact center platform, Audio codes Media gateway devices, Cisco routers, Alcatel routers and Cisco Switches
- VOIP routing and management via different carriers AT&T, SINGTEL, MCI, TELEGLOBE using NEXTONE (Session border controller) Call routing for inbound and outbound calling
- Protocols: SIP, ISDN, RTP & CODECS G.729 / G.711 Monitoring bandwidth utilization for Internet, WAN links through MRTG
- All over India technical support for resolution of Critical/Major faults from various ITMC and Customers
- Handling incident management through ticket portal Remedy / Service Now
- Ensure periodic updates and timely escalations to seniors and Clients for Critical Issues
- Arranging Major events (ME) updates through mail and conference call with different stake holder to isolate major outages
- Finding root cause analysis of fault and furnishing the same to the Customer
- Provide 24x7 supports as a team.
