Tibco BW components migration to Apache Camel based microservices as tech enhancement road map of current Citi-Direct backend BSI to cloud. Prior to that I handled milestone enhancements in Citi Direct named Citi® Payment Insights for Institutional Clients with Real-Time Payments Visibility and Management. Citi® Payment Insights empowers clients with a complete view of the transaction lifecycle within Citi’s entire global network, and across the correspondent banking eco-system by integrating the transparency provided by SWIFT’s GPI initiative.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY

As an individual contributor I have developed and delivered the multiple Regulatory enhancements

• Working as tech lead and handling team of 6 people. Helping and assisting technically, mentoring and monitor team to meet requirements.
• Worked in agile framework as an individual contributor Responsibilities include - Interaction with Business team in story grooming, reviewing story/acceptance criteria.
• Converted monolithic app to microservices architecture using Spring Boot using 12-factor app methodology. Deployed, Scaled, Configured Microservices.
• Implemented REST Microservices using spring boot. Generated Metrics with method level granularity and Persistence using Spring AOP and Spring Actuator.
• Implemented Zipkins for distributed Micro Service Monitoring. Integrated Swagger UI and wrote integration test along with REST document.
• Implemented Hysterix a Latency and Fault Tolerance system for Distributed Systems. Wrote Controller, Services and for a POC
• Used spring config server for centralized configuration and Splunk for centralized logging. Used Concourse and Jenkins for Microservices deployment
• Developed story/task by following TDD/BDD and Pair programming concepts. Providing daily status in scrum meetings with client. Mentored new team members on effective usage of blend of Spring Boot /JPA and Java

• Modified codes and documents as per requirement and resolved issues.
• Defining strategy to keep original work done for customer intact while moving to upgraded product.
• To check functionality of protocols used for communicating with different servers. protocols included XML over HTTP, SOAP, SFTP and others.
• Above efforts involved working on Core Java, JDBC, XML, Ant files.
