• Maximum possible efficient operation of all area (SCADA, Switch yard, Switchgear, Electrical System) of substation by continuous monitoring of the process & equipment & also taking corrective actions in case of any fault. Strict adherence to safety and norms.
• Record and compile operational data, completing and maintaining forms, logs, daily O&M reports and auxiliary consumption reports.
• Maintaining generation of all 5
• 660 MW units as per instruction from State load dispatch center by giving proper instruction to all unit desk engineers from Switchyard Control Room.
• Proper monitoring of all unit generations and in case of deviation from schedule give instructions to desk engineer to avoid any under injection or over injection of generation and thereby maintain AG (Available Generation)/SG (Schedule Generation) above 99%.
• In case of poor coal quality or any equipment unavailability revise DC with proper communication with State load dispatch center.
• Monitoring all parameters of switchyard equipment's in log book and take proper action in case of abnormality.
• Carry out all verbal and written communications with State load dispatch center regarding any Line or equipment (BUS REACTOR, LINE REACTOR, STATION TRANSFORMER, INTERCONNECTED TRANSFORMER) charging or discharging.
• Carry out all verbal and written communication with state load dispatch center in case of Unit Synchronisation or unit shutdown.
• Defect identification and notifying it for correction / corrective action.
• Control and maintain auxiliary power.
• Safe & planned line charge and shut-downs and Switch gears operation.
• Issue PTW in SAP & also update all activities in SAP.
• Following & Maintaining all Documents as per IMS policy & Safety management System (SMS).
• Implementation of 5S policy at my site.
• Handling emergencies & normalising at the earliest.
