Project Description: Build ETL Pipelines:

Role : Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborated with cross-functional team to understand the data pipeline requirements
• Analyzed requirements and developed reusable ETL components
• Ingested data from Oracle Database using Apache Kafka into Single Store by adhering to SCD Type 1 and Type 2 concepts
• Restructured 200+ Stream Sets and Control M jobs in collaboration with cross-functional teams which led to a more efficient scheduling of the jobs

Project Description: Migrate Oracle ERP applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

• Gathered technical, functional requirements and identified 30+ ERP applications which are in scope for migrating to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

• Install database, upgrade database to 19C and convert it to multi-tenant and configure EBS, VCP, OTM and other third-party applications.

• Participated in CAB review meetings with cross-functional teams to obtain approvals to allow the inbound and outbound traffic in compliance with network and fire-wall protocols.

• Document cookbooks and prepare cutover plans.

• Facilitated war rooms to address post go-live support issues and ensure hyper care is provided by coaching junior team members.

Accomplishments: Awarded with Tech – Maestro RISE Awards for contribution.

Project Description: Oracle EBS Upgrade (R12.2.5 and R12.2.6):

• Analyze technical and business requirements for upgrading ERP applications from 12.2.3 to 12.2.5 and then to R12.2.6 versions
• Set-up pilot environments to upgrade the WebLogic and EBS Application upgrades
• Prepare JIRA dashboards and track the issues observed during upgrade and the custom code changes required.
• Resolve issues tracked which occurred pre and post upgrade of EBS, VCP and Demantra applications
• Collaborated with other third-party software vendors to provision latest versions of their applications to be compatible.
• Prepare runbook and cutover plans to ensure smooth upgrade.

Accomplishments: Bagged Silver Awards for contribution during 12.2.5 and 12.2.6 upgrade.
